Description

Jupiter is a wood and glass coffee table with two tiers, designed by Fabio Rebosio. This version combines a clear glass top, an ash-veneered lower shelf in a wengé finish and polished aluminium supports. Available in four sizes, in square or rectangular formats, it stands 30 cm high.

The glass reveals the lower shelf and supports, highlighting the contrast between the dark wood finish and the reflections of the aluminium. The low profile complements the seating area, while the two tiers provide separate surfaces for objects you want to keep near the sofa.

Clear glass, wengé-finished ash and aluminium

The clear glass top allows the table’s design and the surface of the lower shelf to be appreciated from above. The shelf is veneered in ash with a wengé finish: ash is the wood used, while wengé identifies the finish.

The polished aluminium supports connect the two tiers, introducing reflective details alongside the dark shelf. The combination of glass, wood and metal gives the composition character while preserving its understated design.

Two tiers for organising the seating area

The upper top provides a surface for a book, a serving tray or everyday objects. The lower shelf can accommodate books and magazines, leaving the glass surface clearer.

The transparent top also reveals the objects arranged beneath it. An orderly arrangement, with part of the shelf left free, showcases the ash finish and keeps the relationship between the two tiers clearly visible.

Four sizes, in square or rectangular formats

Jupiter in the clear glass, wengé-finished ash and polished aluminium configuration is available in the following sizes, all 30 cm high:

• 85 × 85 × H 30 cm — square;
• 120 × 65 × H 30 cm — rectangular;
• 120 × 120 × H 30 cm — square;
• 140 × 70 × H 30 cm — rectangular.

The 85 × 85 cm square format suits a compact seating area. The 120 × 120 cm version offers a more generous surface and can be considered for an arrangement with several seats around the table.

The rectangular formats follow the length of the sofa. The 120 × 65 cm version provides an elongated surface with a smaller footprint; the 140 × 70 cm version can complement longer sofas and seating arrangements that extend lengthways.

Before choosing, consider the distance from the seating and the walkways you need to keep clear. The dimensions of your rug, the position of any armchairs and the space needed to move around the table all help determine the most suitable format.

How to coordinate a wood and glass coffee table

The wengé finish introduces a dark element that can contrast with a pale sofa or echo other details in the living room. The clear glass leaves the lower shelf visible without adding an opaque upper surface, while the polished aluminium can complement existing metallic elements.

With fabric upholstery, the smooth glass and metal surfaces create a contrast of textures. Alongside other wooden furniture, consider the tones and grain patterns together, choosing whether to echo the table’s dark finish or use it as a contrasting element.

On request, we can consider other ash finishes, versions with a Canaletto walnut-veneered lower shelf, or matt and gloss lacquered finishes. The upper top can also be requested in bronze or smoked glass. Alternative materials, finishes and combinations may have different prices and require an individual quotation.
