Description
Ishikawa: wood meets colour
A circle of wood, grain that draws the eye, a touch of colour emerging beneath the top. Ishikawa brings a measured sense of playfulness to the dining room, combining the warmth of ash with a sculptural design. The round shape invites people to gather, with no place taking precedence: conversations flow and the table becomes the natural centre of the room.
Designed by Cristian Li Voi, Ishikawa reveals its character through its asymmetrical base. A large cylindrical leg, marked by a diagonal cut, sits alongside two slimmer cylinders. Their different proportions and the meeting of wood and lacquer create an elegant composition, with an unexpected detail that leaves room for the personality of those who live there.
Tobacco-stained ash and gloss lacquers
The configuration presented features a round ash-veneered top, 3 cm thick, and a main leg in the same TB tinto tabacco finish. The continuity of the stain connects the top to the largest support, highlighting the grain and the presence of the wood.
The two small cylindrical legs are available in Salvia gloss or Rosso gloss, according to the choice made in the dedicated dropdown menu. Both are finished in the same selected colour.
Salvia introduces a soft shade that complements the tobacco stain with a gentle contrast and a suggestion of the natural world. Rosso creates a bolder accent: a lively note beneath the top that brings the base into focus. The gloss finish adds reflections to both interpretations, bringing the cylindrical surfaces to life as the light changes.
Two choices to define your table
The round Ishikawa is available in diameters of 140, 160 and 180 cm, with an overall height of 76 cm. The first dropdown menu allows you to choose the tabletop diameter; the second, the colour of the two small legs: Salvia gloss or Rosso gloss.
In every combination offered, the top and main leg remain in tobacco-stained ash. You can therefore choose the size that suits your interior and your preferred colour accent, while retaining the same harmony of materials and proportions.
The circular shape lends itself to sociable gatherings and allows chairs to be arranged freely around the top. To find the most suitable diameter, we can help you consider the dimensions of your chairs and the clearance needed to move comfortably, using photographs, measurements or a floor plan of the room.
Wood and colour: a world of combinations
Alongside the tobacco finish presented here, the available ash stains include NC tinto noce, WG wengé, MK moka and TN tinto nero. From warmer shades to deeper tones, each finish offers a different way to interpret the grain and coordinate the table with the other elements of your interior.
An open-pore matt lacquer introduces colour while allowing the texture of the ash to remain visible. For the two small cylinders, the possibilities also include open-pore matt, closed-pore matt and gloss lacquers, with a broad and varied palette to explore in the colour chart in the gallery.
This freedom invites you to imagine different combinations: tone-on-tone for a quiet, harmonious presence, a neutral shade to complement the wood subtly, or a colour contrast that highlights the interplay of the supports. The colour might echo a detail in the chairs, a rug, an artwork or a shade already present in the room, creating a personal connection between the table and its surroundings.
The relationship between matt and gloss opens up further possibilities. Matt surfaces give colour a softer expression; gloss surfaces catch the light and emphasise the shapes. Through our consultation service, we can help you explore these combinations and find a balance that suits your project.
Other materials, other atmospheres
The Ishikawa collection also includes tops in lacquered wood fibreboard, tempered glass and polished natural marble. Each material changes the character of the table while preserving the recognisable design of the base.
Glass is available in clear, transparent bronze-tinted and smoked versions, with a thickness of 10 or 12 mm depending on the version selected. Its transparency reveals the arrangement of the supports and creates a direct dialogue between the top, the base and the light.
Polished natural marble tops are 2 cm thick. The available stones are Bianco Carrara, Nero Marquinia, Emperador Dark and Calacatta Vagli Oro: Carrara’s light background and grey veining, the contrast of Nero Marquinia, the brown tones of Emperador Dark and the golden hues of Calacatta Vagli Oro create different atmospheres. The natural variations in the stone make every top unique.
A family of shapes for your project
Alongside the round version, Ishikawa is available in rectangular and curved rectangular shapes, both measuring 200 × 110, 240 × 110 and 260 × 110 cm. The diagrams in the gallery allow you to compare the shapes and dimensions across the collection; the overall height varies according to the tabletop material.
Our remote consultation service guides you through the choice of shape, materials and finishes. You can share photographs, measurements and references for your interior with us: we will consider the combinations together and, where useful, explore the possibility of sending samples, subject to availability and conditions.
The published prices refer to the round table with a 3 cm ash-veneered top and main leg in the TB tinto tabacco finish, with both small legs in Salvia gloss or Rosso gloss, according to the selected diameter and colour. Alternative shapes, materials and finishes may have different prices: we will guide your choice and prepare a quotation for your preferred configuration.
