An executive desk with sculptural presence

MONOLITH takes its character from its base: shaped V-shaped metal legs create angled surfaces whose appearance changes with the viewpoint. The generous desktop, with its slim profile, extends above these volumes in a carefully balanced composition of visual lightness and solidity.

The marble-effect ceramic in Calacatta Bianco introduces a bright, veined surface, enhanced by its contrast with the black frame and side storage unit. This combination works beautifully with warm woods, stone floors, light walls and leather-upholstered seating, allowing different interpretations of a prestigious professional practice or contemporary executive office.

Its personality lies in the relationship between the elements: the horizontal desktop, the geometry of the metal and the side storage volume form a recognisable composition for those who want their professional space to have a clear identity.

Italian design and considered construction

MONOLITH’s aesthetics are supported by carefully specified construction. The desktop combines a 6 mm marble-effect ceramic slab with an 18 mm MDF support, finished underneath in Tortora 3D-foil. Shaped edges enhance the desk’s side profile, while the legs, made from 4 mm sheet metal, and the under-desk frame are finished with epoxy powder coating.

This attention to different viewing angles makes MONOLITH particularly appealing as a freestanding centrepiece, seen from the entrance, the visitor chairs and the surrounding circulation space. Its design contributes to the character of the whole office.

Integrated storage and discreet connections

The supporting side unit incorporates storage into the desk composition and provides an additional surface for placing items. Push-to-open doors maintain clean fronts, while the combination of open and closed compartments gives the unit a lighter appearance. The visible exterior components are made from MDF finished in Nero 3D-foil; the internal structure is made from black melamine-faced particleboard.

Connections also have a dedicated place: the desktop access module with two UK sockets and two USB-C charging ports brings power and charging within reach beneath a soft-closing lid. The under-desk cable tray and vertical cable routing integrated into the legs help gather cables together and maintain a tidy workstation.

The desktop is available in 210 × 100 cm or 240 × 100 cm, with an overall desk height of 74.8 cm. The side storage unit measures 183.6 × 55.4 × 53.6 cm.

The choice of size allows the work surface to suit your equipment and the proportions of the room. When planning the layout, consider access, visitor seating, clearance for opening storage doors and movement around the workstation.

The drawings in the gallery show dimensions, layouts and the different side storage units in the collection, together with desktop construction profiles. They help you compare options and visualise your project. The general desk drawing shows a depth of 105 cm for the 3D-foil versions; the ceramic version offered here has a desktop depth of 100 cm.

Alternative finishes and configurations on request

The collection also includes Nero Desirè marble-effect ceramic and MDF desktops finished in 3D-foil in Olmo Grey, Noce Bali, Ardesia, Nero, Wengé and Tortora. Metal frames are available in Nero, Ruggine and Terracotta, according to the combinations offered for each item.

Supporting storage units measuring 123.6, 153.6 or 183.6 cm, freestanding side units and standard or Privacy modesty panels can also be considered. Desktops with inserts feature a section finished in 3D-foil or faux leather, in a matching or contrasting finish.

These alternatives have different prices and require an individual quotation. The general drawings illustrate the collection’s possibilities; the compatibility of dimensions, finishes and accessories is checked for the requested composition. For offices outside the UK, a desktop access module with Schuko UNEL sockets and USB-C charging ports can be requested.
