The combination of natural marble and Canaletto walnut creates a refined dialogue between two noble materials: the mineral luminosity of the top meets the warmth of the wood, resulting in a composition that is expressive, harmonious and timeless.

Thanks to its carefully considered proportions, Shape asserts its personality without making the room feel heavy. The irregular outline of the top softens the geometry of the interior and allows the table to reveal a different character from every viewpoint.

Organic, contemporary elegance

Shape moves beyond the rigidity of the traditional rectangular dining table in favour of a freer and more inviting silhouette.

The rounded edges, asymmetrical top and gently inclined legs create a continuous visual movement. Each element appears to respond to the next, in a composition where the solidity of wood and marble is accompanied by a remarkable sense of lightness.

In a bright room decorated in neutral tones, Calacatta Vagli Oro marble introduces depth and refinement. When combined with richer colours, burnished metals or subdued lighting, the table acquires a more dramatic and highly sophisticated presence.

Its fluid form also facilitates movement around the table and encourages a convivial arrangement of diners, without the visual rigidity of a perfectly orthogonal shape.

The configuration offered

The table offered features an asymmetrical, drop-shaped top made from polished natural Calacatta Vagli Oro marble, 2 cm thick.

Calacatta Vagli Oro is distinguished by its pale background, crossed by grey veining and golden nuances. Its natural pattern gives depth to the surface and makes every top unique.

The base is made from solid natural Canaletto walnut. The warm colour of the wood and the richness of its grain create a harmonious contrast with the luminosity of the marble.

The overall height of the table is 75 cm.

The chairs shown in some of the photographs are not included.

Natural marble: every top is unique

Marble is a natural material characterised by variations in veining, colour, tone and structure. These differences are not imperfections, but evidence of the stone’s authentic origin, making every table truly unique.

The top supplied will therefore display the distinctive character of Calacatta Vagli Oro, although its pattern may differ slightly from the marble shown in the photographs.

Colours and material details may also appear different depending on the screen and lighting conditions. Once the order has been confirmed and before production begins, physical samples of the selected finishes can be supplied.

Four marbles, four interpretations

The collection offers four polished natural marbles, each giving Shape a distinct personality:

• Bianco Carrara, luminous and timeless, with a pale background and delicate grey veining;
• Nero Marquinia, deep and dramatic, with light veins contrasting against a black background;
• Emperador Dark, warm and enveloping, enriched by brown tones and a natural network of veining;
• Calacatta Vagli Oro, precious and luminous, recognised by its pale background crossed by grey and golden veins.

The choice of marble allows Shape to be adapted to the atmosphere of the room: light and understated in Bianco Carrara, graphic in Nero Marquinia, warm in Emperador Dark or exceptionally refined in the Calacatta Vagli Oro shown in the photographs.

The warmth of natural Canaletto walnut

The solid natural Canaletto walnut base brings warmth, depth and continuity to the design of the table.

The legs follow soft, gently inclined lines that highlight the craftsmanship of the solid wood and contribute to the overall balance of the composition. Their arrangement varies according to the size of the table: the 200 cm version stands on three legs, while the 240 and 260 cm versions have four legs.

Natural Canaletto walnut can be replaced, upon request, with other available woods, stains or finishes.

Alternative shapes, materials and finishes

Shape offers extensive scope for personalisation.

In addition to the asymmetrical, drop-shaped top offered here, the table can be produced with a rounded rectangular or barrel-shaped top.

Depending on the selected shape and size, the top can also be made from wood, clear, bronze-tinted or smoked tempered glass, ceramic or one of the available natural marbles.

The ceramic options include Elegant Black, Frappuccino, Golden White and Patagonia.

The base can be personalised with the natural or stained wood finishes and open-pore matt lacquers presented in the finishes chart.

Available sizes and proportions

The configuration with an asymmetrical Calacatta Vagli Oro marble top and natural Canaletto walnut base is available in the following sizes:

• W 200 × D 110 × H 75 cm, with three legs;
• W 240 × D 120 × H 75 cm, with four legs;
• W 260 × D 120 × H 75 cm, with four legs.

These three sizes allow the table to be adapted to dining rooms of different proportions, from a more compact residential interior to a large formal entertaining space.

Before selecting a size, it is advisable to consider not only the desired number of seats, but also the space required around the table for chairs and comfortable circulation.
