SAM is a sculptural round freestanding bookcase crafted in natural Canaletto walnut and handmade in Italy. Designed as an architectural vertical element, it brings rhythm, proportion and material depth to refined interiors.

Its cylindrical silhouette, defined by slender vertical supports and stacked circular shelves, creates a subtle balance between structural solidity and visual lightness.

Three Heights, One Sculptural Identity

SAM is available in three configurations, all with a diameter of 45 cm:

• Ø 45 x H 45 cm – single-tier version
• Ø 45 x H 90 cm – two-tier version
• Ø 45 x H 133 cm – three-tier version

Each version can stand alone or be combined to create dynamic vertical compositions tailored to the space.

Fixed or Rotating

SAM may be produced in either a fixed or rotating version, upon request at the time of order.

The rotating version allows smooth circular movement, enhancing accessibility and interaction without altering the essential geometry of the piece.

The choice between fixed and rotating versions does not affect the price.

Versatility and Placement

The single-tier version can function as an elegant cylindrical side table; the mid-height configuration serves as a refined vertical display unit; the three-tier version establishes itself as a totemic bookcase capable of structuring a room.

Fully freestanding and requiring no wall fixing, SAM may be positioned at the centre of a room, beside an armchair, near a bed or within an executive office setting.
