JEAN MARIE is a luxurious vanity / writing desk created by the vibrant pencil of Umberto Asnago (2019).

Structure.
The external part is in beech plywood curved in a mould and padded with a sheet of non-deformable polyurethane foam with a density of 70 kg/m³, CFC-free, then covered in leather or hide.
The internal part is in melamine, covered in hide or leather.
Floor.
In grey stained Canaletto walnut veneered chipboard panel.
The vanity has a padded mirror covered in hide or leather and 3 drawers.
The dimensions are cm. 133 x 55 x h 80 – 130.
As an option, the top can be made with a slab of Dover White marble.

Umberto Asnago (1949) obtained his diploma at the Istituto d’Arte in Cantu’ (Italy) and he soon started his experience as designer with Giorgetti SpA in 1968, where lately he assumed the direction of the Research Center. In 2006 he left Giorgetti to start his career as designer. At present he is Art Director and Designer of Penta Illuminazione. In 2011 he designeda collection for Giorgetti, thus returning as designer. Now he designs for furniture companies like: ARFLEX, BESANA, GRUPPO INDUSTRIALE BUSNELLI, IVANO REDAELLI, MOBILIDEA. These collaborations have formed Umberto Asnago as a personality capable to face with professionalism the rapid evolutions of the furniture market.
