Ascot is a luxurious round dining table designed by Umberto Asnago.
The table is entirely handcrafted in Italy with the best materials.
The table top measures 150 cm. in diameter and is made of fine “Sahara” marble with a dominant black colour, embellished with warm auburn veins. Other marble finishes are available (white Carrara Gioia marble, black Marquinia marble, Emperador dark brown marble, or Calacatta Gold marble).
At the centre stands a rotating “lazy susan” round servant in painted crystal, customizable in any RAL colour.
The original base is made of precious Canaletto walnut wood with inserts in brown “cuoietto CS category” hide leather.
On request, it is possible to choose the insert in other types of leather and alternative colours. The table is entirely customizable. You can, for example, choose a white marble for the top, and a white leather for the legs inserts. Everything is possible.

Umberto Asnago (1949) obtained his diploma at the Istituto d’Arte in Cantu’ (Italy) and he soon started his experience as designer with Giorgetti SpA in 1968, where lately he assumed the direction of the Research Center. In 2006 he left Giorgetti to start his career as designer. At present he is Art Director and Designer of Penta Illuminazione. In 2011 he designeda collection for Giorgetti, thus returning as designer. Now he designs for furniture companies like: ARFLEX, BESANA, GRUPPO INDUSTRIALE BUSNELLI, IVANO REDAELLI, MOBILIDEA. These collaborations have formed Umberto Asnago as a personality capable to face with professionalism the rapid evolutions of the furniture market.
