MDF

(Medium density fibreboard) pressed fiber panel.
It is made with wood fibers and a synthetic adhesive.

Features: homogeneity, pleasing, cheaper than solid wood, available everywhere and in various thicknesses.
From a technical point of view it’s a material very easy to use because it does not break, it’s resistant to fire, it’s shape.
The uniformity of its surface makes it particularly suitable to be painted or lacquered.
