Born in 1984, Adriano Rachele is an Italian industrial designer specializing in the creation of lighting fixtures.
Adriano graduated in Industrial Design in 2007 and embarked on his professional journey within the Research & Development department of Slamp, an Italian lighting company with whom he continues to collaborate.
Challenging the trend of mass-produced items, Adriano’s designs successfully infuse each piece with a sense of uniqueness while maintaining series production. His ultimate goal is to ‘create objects that blend technology, functionality, and innovation with tradition and emotion, all while maintaining a touch of irony and accessibility.’
In 2010, Adriano’s Veli project earned him recognition as one of the top young talents in Italian design, and he was awarded the Red Dot Design Award in 2012.
